Rutgers Cancer Institute seeks applications from experienced academically oriented hematologist/oncologists to join the Rutgers Cancer Institute at University Hospital. Academic appointment will be in the Department of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

About the Role

The position will play an important role within our NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and collaborate on clinical and translational research programs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical and translational research programs
• Collaborate with colleagues on cancer prevention, treatment, and education initiatives
• Participate in clinical trials and provide expert consultation
• Support educational activities for medical students, residents, and fellows

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience in clinical and/or translational research
• Strong academic record and publication history

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in academic medicine and research

• Expertise in hematology and oncology
