Hematology/Oncology - Physician - Davenport, IA & Silvis, IL - $150,000 Commencement Bonus

The MercyOne Genesis Medical Group Hematology/Oncology Team is seeking a Full-time employed Hematologist Oncologist to join their nationally accredited cancer care program. Services are provided at the Davenport and Clinton clinics, with shared call responsibilities.

About the role

MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care offers a team-based approach to patient care, including collaboration with radiation oncology, infusion resources, genetic testing, surgical intervention, clinical trials, tumor boards, dieticians, and cancer navigators. The team is committed to providing innovative treatments and resources to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient and family centered care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of oncology practices
• Conduct regular patient follow-ups and manage complex cases
• Engage in professional development and education to stay updated on the latest in oncology
• Support the growth and development of the Hematology/Oncology practice

Requirements

• MD or DO with BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
• Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa and Illinois
• Eligible to work in the United States (J-1 and H1-B candidates welcome)
