Hematology-Oncology Physician

About the role

Seeking a Hematology and Oncology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in an inpatient setting at facilities in a major city known for sports and cultural events.

Responsibilities

• Managing inpatient Hematology and Oncology cases with daily patient rounding, caring for approximately 10-15 patients per shift
• Providing scheduled clinical care and in-house call with a 30-minute response time
• Utilizing Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
• Rounding on hematology/oncology patients, managing inpatient cases, and responding to call duties

Qualifications And Skills

• Active Indiana medical license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• Certifications in ABLS, ACLS, and BLS required; ATLS and PALS not necessary

Schedule

• Credentialing is approximately 90 days, with temporary privileges available
