About the role
Provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients in hematology and oncology, managing an average of 25 patients daily. Coordinate care with inpatient advanced practice professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and deliver specialized treatment within hematology and oncology, adhering to established protocols. Support staff includes inpatient advanced practice professionals. Focus on general hematology and oncology patient care, without new consults.
Schedule
Work four days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with night call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Experience in inpatient adult hematology and oncology care
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with strong coordination skills
- Prescriptive authority is not necessary
