About the Role

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Oncology in Kinston are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified, fellowship-trained Hematology Oncologist to join their regional ECU Health Cancer Care Hematology Oncology team. Applicants should have an interest in growing a community-based general oncology practice. New graduates and 2027 visa candidates are welcome to apply.

This opportunity includes employment by ECU Health Physicians within a growing 9-hospital, physician-led healthcare system. The established practice consists of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers with a strong referral base.

Responsibilities

  • Develop treatment plans for newly diagnosed patients
  • Oversee chemotherapy administration
  • Supervise advanced practice providers for follow-up patients
  • Participate in tumor board meetings
  • Round at the local hospital

Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities will follow a Monday-Friday schedule with a shared call model.
