About the role
This role requires a Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide outpatient care, focusing on complex oncology cases, treatment visits, follow-ups, and some new patient assessments.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full patient panel with comprehensive care coordination
- Perform patient evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality oncology services
Qualifications & Skills
- Board Certified and hold Basic Life Support certification
- Hold a valid Louisiana license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact license
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
Work Environment
Outpatient setting, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Manage hematology and oncology cases, including treatment and follow-up visits
