Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Hematology/Oncology team at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in outpatient Hematology/Oncology settings under physician supervision.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage care for oncology and hematology patients.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor treatment response.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and ongoing care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to coordinate patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using EMR systems.

Requirements

  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Illinois.
  • Certification as an Adult-Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner (AGNP/FNP) required.
  • Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred; new graduates with oncology RN background may be considered.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, especially in Spanish or Ukrainian.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $120,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
