Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner
Join a collaborative and mission-driven oncology team at Bon Secours Cancer Institute, located on the campus of Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA (Greater Richmond Region). We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide inpatient hematology/oncology coverage, delivering compassionate, high-quality care to a complex patient population in a supportive, team-based environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to hematology/oncology patients, including rounding and consults
- Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage acute and chronic oncologic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies and manage therapies in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and supportive care needs
Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners: Board certification as an FNP or AGPCNP; active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license required
- For Physician Assistants: PA-C certification; active Virginia Physician Assistant license required
- Hematology/oncology experience preferred; motivated new graduate NPs and PAs with a strong interest in oncology are encouraged to apply
