Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of hematology/oncology patients
• Manage chemotherapy and targeted therapies
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Provide symptom and side-effect management
• Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families about treatment and care
• Support survivorship and palliative care initiatives
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts

Qualifications & Skills

• Advanced practice registered nurse with hematology/oncology expertise
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Experience managing complex cancer treatments
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
