Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of hematology/oncology patients
- Manage chemotherapy and targeted therapies
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Provide symptom and side-effect management
- Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families about treatment and care
- Support survivorship and palliative care initiatives
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts
Qualifications & Skills
- Advanced practice registered nurse with hematology/oncology expertise
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Experience managing complex cancer treatments
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
