About the role
The mission of Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute is to provide high-quality, patient-centered, multidisciplinary care, excellent patient experience, and robust clinical research trial enrollment. This role is part of a rapidly growing practice at Hartford Hospital, offering a flexible, low-pressure opportunity tailored to individual schedules and goals.
Responsibilities
- See patients in general medical oncology or a specialized area of expertise
- Work within a supportive team including a faculty group, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, and disease management teams
- Benefit from administrative and clinical infrastructure already in place, including scheduling, electronic medical records (EMR), tumor boards, and clinical trial support
- Opportunity to cover a fixed, predictable schedule of clinic days each week or every other week
- Option to cover general medical oncology or focus on a disease site known well
- No call, or a very limited call schedule, by arrangement
Requirements
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
