About the role

Mercy Hospital - Springfield is seeking a hematology and oncology specialist to join their thriving, comprehensive practice. The position is part of a team of 8 hematology/oncology physicians, 11 APPs, 3 radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, and a supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality oncology care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 9:1 call schedule and consult service only
• No weekend call or rounding required
• Work 4 days per week in clinic
• Opportunities for outreach and strong practice growth
• Access to state-of-the-art cancer technology and treatment options

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in hematology and oncology
• Experience in both adult and pediatric oncology is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current medical license in Missouri
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in hematology and oncology

Pay
