Hematology and Oncology Locums

About the role

Seeking a Hematology-Oncology physician for locum coverage in Northern California. Provide inpatient and outpatient care, working in a hospital with stroke certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load of 12-15 per shift, working in clinic and on call
• On-call duties involve beeper call during weeknights and 24-hour weekend coverage, responding by phone only
• Work regular clinic hours with scheduled shifts from 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch

Schedule

Minimum commitment of 2-4 weeks per month, with providers only on call one out of every three weeks.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Hematology-Oncology
• CA license
• BLS certification
