Helper

We are looking for a safety-conscious Driver Helper to join our team in Denver, Colorado.

Pay

$19.00–$21.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Ride on garbage truck to assist the Driver in servicing customers—load refuse bags and bring containers to the truck for proper disposal
• Direct the truck driver when backing
• Assist with vehicle maintenance
• Operate packing mechanisms and levers to activate the loading arm
• Clean the packer blade and truck body
• Deliver positive customer service interactions
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk most of the workday
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs most of the workday
• Ability to climb in and out of the cab of the truck repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and grasp repeatedly throughout the day
