Helper Pay Range
Starting at $20/hr
Paid WEEKLY
Helper Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup of equipment either by hand or machine.
- Load, transport, unload and furnish experienced craft workers with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as needed.
- Absorb and position journeyman’s tools and equipment.
- Abide by the company Safety and QA/QC programs as well as OSHA rules and regulations.
- The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
Helper Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent is required.
- Previous on the job training on a construction site required.
- Hand tools related to the specific tasks or craft is required.
Helper Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to climb up and down ladders, stairs, scaffolds, and other objects while carrying tools/equipment.
- Must have ability to stand or walk for long periods.
- Must use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
- Must have ability to repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
- Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, loud noises, a dusty work environment, and be around high voltage electromagnetic fields.
