About the role
The Helpdesk Technician is responsible for providing technical support to users across various departments. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with user training, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems using diagnostic tools and knowledge of common issues.
- Train users on new systems and applications as needed.
- Document and track tickets and resolutions for efficient follow-up.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and common IT support tools.
Qualifications
