Help Veterans At Home (Herkimer) – Personal Care Aide (PCA) Jobs

Duties

• providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care)
• learning some new recipes and preparing meals
• tidying their home to keep them healthy
• being sure they follow their medication schedule
• other care may be needed to keep them safe

Requirements

• must be certified Personal Care Aide, HHA, or CNA (expired HHA ok)
• will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
• nursing students may be able to work as HHA’s – ask us how
• must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
• reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license required
• must be 18 or older
