About the role
The Porchlight Friends services focus on combating the loneliness and isolation that many seniors are experiencing. We provide in-person companionship and safe, secure online connections with family, friends, and community resources.
Responsibilities
- Aide with projects in the home
- Light housework
- Food prep
- Transportation for doctor appointments and errands
Requirements
Volunteers must be in or near Colorado Springs, CO and have a driver's license. A background check is required, along with attending an orientation. Minors can participate under the supervision of an adult.
