Help Local Veterans (Rome) – Home Care Aide Jobs (PCA, HHA, CNA)

About the role

CareGivers is a licensed home care agency offering quality, compassionate home care services since 1970. We are currently seeking a Home Care Aide who can provide flexible, reliable, and caring support to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help clients prepare and eat meals
• Tidying up the client's home to maintain a healthy environment
• Ensuring clients take their medications as scheduled
• Assisting with daily activities and safety needs

Requirements

• Must be certified Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aid (HHA), or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• At least 3 months of previous hands-on caregiving experience in the last three years may qualify for PCA certification through our free one-day training class
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must meet health requirements

• Caring and dependable personality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Physical ability to perform tasks related to caregiving

Schedule

Shifts are available from 2 to 4 hours, with the possibility of seeing 3-4 clients per day depending on the shift length. Travel between clients is provided.

Pay

The rate is $19.75 per hour for VA casework.
