About the role
Provide essential support to end-users for various IT issues, including computer, application, system, device, access, and hardware problems.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems of moderate complexity efficiently
- Respond promptly to technical support requests received via telephone, email, and online channels
- Document, track, and monitor problem resolution processes using applicable systems and tools
- Collaborate with other teams or departments to ensure timely and effective resolution of user issues
Requirements
- Proven experience in desktop-based hardware support is preferred (1 year)
- Required prior experience in Service Desk or Desktop Support roles
- Basic user and security group experience with ServiceNow
- Knowledge of Active Directory administration
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft-based operating systems, particularly Windows 10 and 11
- Experience with using and troubleshooting Office 365 and Gmail (including permissions, calendaring, and delegation)
- Familiarity with using and troubleshooting collaboration and productivity tools such as Zoom, G-Suite, and Slack
- Ability to support and troubleshoot MFA and VPN issues
- Familiarity with troubleshooting Wi-Fi Networking on both Macs and PCs
