  • Representation of these variations with appropriate mathematical functions to improve the International Reference Ionosphere (IRI).
  • Studies related to the variation of ionospheric densities and temperatures with the 11-year solar cycle using large volumes of in situ data from ionospheric satellite missions.
  • Investigation of positive storm effects on the ionosphere that are not yet included in IRI.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Physics, Astronomy, Geophysics, or a related field.
  • Experience with ionospheric modeling and analysis.
  • Strong background in statistics and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of the International Reference Ionosphere (IRI) and its applications.
