About the role
Helicopter Pilot within the Emergency Services team, responsible for conducting air medical transport missions.
Responsibilities
- Perform preflight planning, weather analysis, and risk assessments to ensure safe operations.
- Operate IFR/VFR helicopter missions to transport critically ill or injured patients.
- Support hospital and EMS partners through efficient air medical services.
- Maintain strict adherence to FAA and company safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with medical crews and dispatch using Crew Resource Management (CRM).
- Communicate precisely with Air Traffic Control (ATC) during missions.
Requirements
- Experience in helicopter operations, with a focus on emergency medical transport.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, safety protocols, and IFR/VFR procedures.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform detailed preflight planning and risk assessments.
