Air Methods is seeking exceptional pilots to join our team. We provide air medical transport services 24/7, ensuring safety and offering work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft safely and legally
- Verify aircraft airworthiness before every flight
- Perform pre-flight walk-around checks
- Ensure compliance with FAR, AIM, GOM, and Air Methods policies
- Complete required documentation
- Conduct detailed flight planning with little notice
- Participate in meetings, activities, projects, and community outreach
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with 2-5 years’ related experience, or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must maintain a weight not exceeding 250 pounds and be under 70 years old
- Must have flown in category within the past 24 months
- Must hold an Instrument rating (category and class of aircraft), Fixed wing multiengine rating, Commercial single-engine land, First OR Second Class FAA Medical certificate, and meet specific flight hours requirements

Pay and Schedule
Pay scale based on flight and EMS experience, ranging from $82,900 to $93,251 per year. Internal bidding ends on July 3, 2026. Minimum pay is $82,900 per year.
