We’re hiring aHelicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to REACH Air Medical Services’ customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services. Responsibilities Deliver initial and recurrent ground and flight training to ensure pilots meet operational and FAA requirementsPrepare pilots for line duty in assigned aircraft and for successful FAA checkridesDevelop and implement training programs that align with operational excellence and safetyParticipate in pilot performance evaluations and skills assessmentsServe as a mentor and leader to lead pilots and aviation line instructor pilotsSupport new base development through clinical leadership and mentoringAssist in performance improvement programs (PIP) under the guidance of the Director of Standardization and TrainingOversee pilot education, training documentation, and quality assurance within the assigned groupContribute to the hiring process for aviation personnelCoordinate training that supports CAMTS standards and monthly base reviewsEnsure adherence to company policies and procedures, including the GOM, Ops Specs, Aviation Training Manual, and SOPsFill in as a line pilot when required (e.g., vacations, sick leave)Maintain ongoing professional development and attend meetings as requiredReport directly to the Director of Standardization and Training or designated supervisor Minimum Requirements Certified Flight Instructor (CFI recommended; CFII preferred)Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate3,000 Total Flight Hours (helicopter)1,500 Helicopter PIC Hours500 Cumulative Night Hours230 pound weight limit with flight gear Preferred Qualifications ATP ratingFAR Part 135 and EMS experienceNVG experienceStrong background in flight instructionBased at a location agreed upon with the Director of Operations (not necessarily an operating base); travel may be required in advance of assignments, with expenses reimbursed per company policy Why Choose REACH?
