Hebrew Language Preschool Teacher

About the role

As a Preschool Teacher at the OFJCC Leslie Family Preschool, you will create and implement programs and promote learning in a licensed, Reggio-inspired, play-based, constructivist preschool program serving children aged 18 months to 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement educational programs aligned with the Reggio Emilia approach
• Engage children in hands-on, exploratory activities that foster learning and creativity
• Develop and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute group activities and projects
• Assess children’s progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children’s development and needs

Requirements

• 12 or more ECE units (AA and/or BA degree in ECE or related field and teacher permit preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed child care/educational environment
• Knowledge of Constructivist/Reggio Emilia Approach to teaching and learning desirable
