Heavy Highway Superintendent position based in Pittsburgh, PA. A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on bridge and highway infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a strong field leader with experience managing bridge construction, structural concrete, and roadway work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on bridge and highway projects
• Manage crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
• Coordinate structural concrete, bridge rehabilitation, and new bridge construction activities
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to plans and specifications
• Work closely with Project Managers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Maintain quality control and enforce all safety standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in bridge or heavy civil construction
• Strong background in bridge construction, structural concrete, roadway, or transportation infrastructure projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• OSHA certification preferred

Pay

$90,000–$140,000 per year
