HEAVY EQUIPMENT/ TRUCK MECHANIC
Responsibilities
- Help maintain and repair construction equipment, trucks, mixer trucks, including preventative maintenance work, hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs and welding
- May perform service repairs in the field
- May have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of units from small fleet vehicles, class 8 trucks/trailers, mixer trucks, construction equipment and crushing equipment
- Complete all paperwork that may be necessary
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
- Other duties assigned as needed
Hours
2:00PM – 10:00PM Monday to Friday
Pay
$26.91-$47.11 Wage Range, with a wage differential of $3 included for swing shift
Qualifications
- Previous mechanical experience on construction equipment, class 8 trucks and mixer trucks
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical welding and fabrication experience desirable
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional and drug screen
