About the Role

This role is based at our rental facility in Cheyenne, WY. You’ll work on maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems while using technology like laptops and tablets. The position may require occasional travel to customer job sites for repairs and includes on-call scheduling with additional compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
  • Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of rental and customer equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
  • Use technology (laptops and tablets) to document work and access schematics
  • Maintain accurate and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders)
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
  • Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed
  • Travel to customer job sites for field repairs when required; maintain a clean and professional service vehicle
  • Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma (Trade school certificate preferred)
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Must own tools applicable to the position
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
  • Knowledge of construction equipment with an understanding of schematics and diagrams
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

This is a safety-sensitive position. Any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours.
