Heavy Equipment Snow Operator

We are seeking experienced and dependable front end loader operator to join our winter/snow operations team. This position is strictly snow-related work—if it snows, you work; if it doesn’t, you’re off. Ideal candidates have prior snow removal and/or heavy equipment experience and are comfortable operating various types of equipment during overnight, early morning, and extended storm events. Additional Equipment You May Operate Pickup truck with plowSkid steer with plow or snow pusherATV / UTV with plowSnowrator or similar specialized snow equipmentClass B Tandem dump truck Key Responsibilities Perform commercial snow plowing and snow relocation per site plansOperate assigned equipment safely and efficiently in winter conditionsMonitor site conditions and maintain cleared surfaces throughout storm eventsCommunicate clearly with supervisors regarding site conditions, equipment issues, or delaysPerform basic equipment inspections before, during, and after shiftsFollow all safety protocols and company snow proceduresBe reliable and responsive during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays Schedule & Availability On-call, weather-dependent scheduleShifts may be long and variable depending on snowfallMust be available for overnight and early morning operationsSeasonal position only (no guaranteed hours) Qualifications (Required) Prior snow removal experience or heavy equipment operating experienceValid driver’s licenseAbility to work long hours during snow eventsDependable, punctual, and safety-mindedPass DOT Required Drug Screen Qualifications (Preferred) Skid steer, loader, or heavy equipment experienceCDL (Class A or B) a plus, but not required (Qualifications [Preferred] continued) Familiarity with commercial sitesBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipmentAbility to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and icy conditionsAbility to climb in and out of equipment repeatedlyAbility to remain alert and focused during long shiftsAbility to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs as required by job duties
