About the role
Alta Equipment Company is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician for their Case Power and Equipment of PA dealership in Harrisburg, PA.
Responsibilities
- Complete inspections
- Remove and install parts
- Implement of optional accessories
- Maintain equipment
- Basic diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Test equipment
- Perform general repairs
- Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Three years of previous heavy equipment repair experience
- Excellent mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of engine, power train, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Possess own tools
- A positive attitude and high energy
- Intermediate math skills
- Intermediate reasoning ability
Qualifications
- Intermediate reading and writing skills
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Case/New Holland EST)
- Intermediate mathematical skills
- Intermediate reasoning ability
