Heavy Equipment Operator – Parks

About the role

Responsible for operating heavy equipment to maintain and enhance park facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
• Maintain equipment in good working order through regular maintenance checks.
• Perform landscaping tasks such as grading, planting, and mulching.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
