Heavy Equipment Operator - Moose, WY

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to move construction materials, earth, and rock on heavy-civil construction sites.
• Perform daily pre-operation/inspection checks and complete daily inspection reports.
• Immediately report malfunctioning equipment/components and safety defects to supervisor.
• Complete tasks, assignments and activities given in English.
• Cook up machine actions with verbal (English) instructions or hand signals.
• Move levers, push pedals, rotate steering wheels, turn valves to activate hydraulic lines powering booms, sticks, cylinders and heavy equipment implements.
• Operate and maneuver heavy equipment in remote locations, variety of terrain, and ground conditions, tight spaces and around light or high volume traffic areas.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Travel in and around the company trade area: (CO, MT, ND, NE, SD & WY)

Requirements

• Well developed ability to communicate verbally.
