Heavy Equipment Operator I
Job Summary
Entry-level operator responsible for inspecting incoming material and documenting as required. Responsible for moving material to and from designated areas under direct supervision while learning to operate equipment such as forklift or loader.
Key Responsibilities
- Moves material to and from designated areas under direct supervision while learning to operate equipment (forklift or loader only).
- Inspects incoming material and fills out necessary paperwork.
- Cleans and maintains a safe work area.
- Conducts daily inspection of equipment.
- Follows all safety rules and procedures.
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
Education And Experience Requirements
- No Degree Required
- No Experience Required, 1 year manufacturing, warehouse or construction experience preferred
- REQUIRED: Valid Driver's License - Class C
- PREFERRED: Commercial Driver's License - Class A
