Heavy Equipment Operator (Havre)
About the role
Williams Civil Construction is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to join their Heavy Civil team for a project in Havre, Montana.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment like excavators, dozers, loaders, blades, haul trucks, and water trucks
- Work on a variety of projects including utilities, grading, and site prep
- Identify and avoid underground utilities before digging
- Adjust to changing job site conditions and solve problems as they come up
- Keep basic time and material records
- Travel from interstate highway to rural dirt roads from various locations
- Look out for your crew and keep safety top of mind
Requirements
- Experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Understanding of trenching and shoring basics
- Familiarity with materials (aggregates, load weights, etc.)
- Able to follow instructions and communicate with your team
- Basic math skills for measurements and quantities
- A strong work ethic and willingness to adapt day-to-day

What Williams Civil Construction Offers
This is a prevailing wage project with a pay rate of $55.42/hr plus $150/Day Per Diem (as applicable to location and contract).
