Heavy Equipment Operator - Haul Truck (Quarry Night Shift)

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, graders, dump trucks, front-end loaders, compactors, scrapers, and water trucks to move materials to and from designated areas.
- Drive trucks equipped with dump bodies to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, soil, rock, gravel, coal, ore, and industrial byproducts.
- Pull levers or turn cranks to tilt truck bodies and dump contents; operate controls to loosen and remove material adhering to dump beds.
- Participate in required training and adhere to all safety rules, procedures, policies, OSHA, and MSHA regulations.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Use email, smartphones, tablets, or computers to manage company information and documents.
- Draft routine reports and correspondence.
Requirements
- Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, MSHA, and other relevant state and federal regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in using email, smart devices, or computers for company communications and documentation.
- Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
- Must maintain acceptable attendance standards as per the employee handbook.
- Approach work in a meticulous, thorough, and timely manner.
