Heavy Equipment Operator

E.L. Harvey & Sons, a Waste Connections company, is seeking a safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator in Fitchburg, MA.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay

$27.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, scrapers, and compactors.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.
• Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Interact with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.

Requirements

• Massachusetts 2A/1C hoisting license
• 2+ years’ experience running heavy equipment
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
