Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Excavate for and build bioretention facilities, rain gardens, ponds, sediment basins and other storm‑water management facilities/BMP’s
• Muck out and re‑grade ponds
• Shoot grades for stakeout and read/interpret cut sheets
• Run bobcat and/or mini excavator and/or heavy equipment to trench, grade, and excavate
• Complete other grading and excavation needs per the request of our clients

Requirements

• Eligible for employment in the United States
• 1–5 years of experience with bobcat and/or mini excavator or larger equipment
• Ability to lift 50 lb
• Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Physically fit to perform manual labor in all environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lb)
• Regularly required to sit and stand; must be able to use hands/fingers, handle or feel objects, and verbally communicate and listen
• Additional requirements: walking, climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Vision abilities needed: distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Compensation

Up to $30/hr depending on experience.
