Work With Us | Maricopa County, AZ We Require Three years of experience operating trucks and equipmentHigh school diploma or GEDA valid Arizona Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a tanker endorsementState and federal regulations require Maricopa County to conduct a pre-employment safety history investigation for all positions that require an applicant to possess a commercial driver’s license (CDL). Maricopa County is also required to conduct a pre-employment safety history investigation for positions that directly impact commercial motor vehicle safety, but may not specifically require a valid CDL We Also Value Experience transporting equipment along with operating/driving the following: motor grader, backhoe, frontend loader, distributor trucks, and various types of small equipment. Job Contributions Operate a variety of medium to large-sized construction and maintenance equipment/vehicles in accordance with all safety regulations and proceduresPlan and prioritize work tasks; read and interpret plans, drawings, and specificationsPerform pre- and post-checks, clean, service, and minor maintenance repairs on equipment/vehicles. Identify and report mechanical problems requiring additional repairComplete required daily logs and prepare reports; enter information in the asset management system (Cartegraph).
