Job Contributions
- Operate a variety of medium to large-sized construction and maintenance equipment/vehicles in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Plan and prioritize work tasks; read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Perform heavy manual labor assignments as needed and assist work crews as required
- Complete required daily logs and prepare reports; attend safety meetings and other required meetings and mandatory training
- Haul materials and transport vehicles and equipment to job sites using various trucks
- Other job duties as assigned

Requirements
- Three years of experience operating trucks and equipment
- A high school diploma or GED
- A valid Arizona Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL); endorsements may be required for some job assignments
Qualifications
State and federal regulations require Maricopa County to conduct a pre-employment safety history investigation for all positions that require an applicant to possess a commercial driver’s license (CDL).

Schedule
The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.
