Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively operate heavy equipment such as: skid steer, dozer, milling saw, excavator, loader, roller and more.
- Work on tasks such as: Placing material to grade, install utility systems by excavating trenches with proper slopes or place shoring and trench boxes, load earth materials onto trucks using different pieces of equipment.
- Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling, and fueling, fill out maintenance reports daily
- Cook up machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from team members
Skills
- Experience in all facets of operation to include excavator, loader, dozer, skid steer, etc.
- Operates heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way, including knowledge of equipment functions, running, navigating, detects or assesses problems, mechanical aptitude, and driving
- Knowledge of drainage work and utilities, materials, methods, and the tools involved in structural fills.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)
- Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results, able to provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
- P-6 or P-7 Plumbing a Plus
