Heavy Equipment Operator

KE&G Construction Inc. is one of southern Arizona’s leading heavy-civil contractors. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual who desires to learn and Build Your Future as an employee-owner. This opportunity is located in our Sierra Vista location for full-time, Heavy Equipment Operator.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and desire to excel while working with fellow employee-owners
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mass earthwork operations and/or heavy-civil construction
• GPS experience is a plus
• Motor grader, Loader, Excavator, Scraper, Backhoe, Gannon, and other specialized equipment operation skills
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Must pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug screenings

• Teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Professional field environment
• Frequent exposure to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, viruses, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines, and dust/debris
• Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures
• Working outside for long periods of time
• Navigating and performing activities on various construction sites in a safe manner
