Heavy Equipment Operator

Position

K2 Construction in Lincoln, NE is looking for motivated individuals to join their team. They have an immediate opening for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator.

Hours

Hours of operation are Monday- Friday 7am to 5pm with some overtime and weekends.

Requirements

• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK
• 2 years of experience preferred

Job Duties

• A Heavy Equipment Operator performs a variety of skilled duties associated with the operation of multiple types of heavy equipment in a construction environment.
• This includes operating all equipment in compliance with the company’s safety policies and procedures.
• The Heavy Equipment Operators also ensure that company equipment, materials and the work site are maintained, kept clean and stored in a safe manner.

• Motor grader
• Track loader
• Compaction equipment
• Trimmers
• Tractor Disk

Environmental Working Conditions

• All work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather.
• Exposure to all elements of nature
• Exposure to all types of terrain
• Exposure to loud noise
• Exposure to fumes, odors, gasses, dusts, etc.
• Work in close proximity to heavy traffic

Physical Requirements

• Standing
• Walking
• Climbing, stooping and bending
• Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds
• Duties may require working from heights
