Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for day to day Heavy Equipment Operation activities at a steelmetal recovery plant. Running equipment such as loaders, excavators, skidsteer, heavy duty trucks, cranes.

• Performs routine mobile equipment pre start and post inspections and records activity on inspection sheets.
• Follows all plant safety guidelines for the safe operations of heavy mobile equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 - 3 year’s experience as a equipment operator.
• Ability to do manual labor in an outdoor environment that may include elevated areas and extreme weather conditions.
