Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate yard equipment including Straddle Carrier, Top Handler, Large Forklift, and Crane for ESS container handling.
• Perform container (ESS) loading, unloading, storing, and relocation within the yard.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with yard operational guidelines.
• Work closely with yard supervisors and team members to maintain efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating one or more machines of the following: Straddle Carrier, Top Handler, Reach Stacker, Large Forklift, Crane (Crawler Crane 250ton+).
• Understanding of container handling operations in yard environments.
• Valid equipment operation certifications.
• Able to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Willingness to work shifts as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Schedule

Shift: 1 Monday – Friday Day Shift (5am : 2pm)

Shift: 2 Monday – Friday Day Shift (2pm : 11pm)
