HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

About the role

Brison Developments is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support a variety of civil, residential, commercial, and road-building projects based out of Windsor, Nova Scotia. Part-time or full-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Operate dozers, excavators, and rock trucks safely and efficiently
• Perform earthmoving, grading, and mass excavation tasks
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Work closely with site supervisors and labourers to maintain productivity
• Follow all safety procedures and site protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience
• GPS machine-control experience is an asset, but not required
• Strong understanding of heavy civil work and safe operating practices
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
