Heavy Equipment Mechanic (JC-516307)

Job Description and Duties

The incumbent will perform a variety of heavy equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Duties include diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid California Drivers License (CDL)
• Past experience working with heavy equipment
• Completion of a relevant training program

Working Conditions

The position involves working in a shop and/or field environment. Incumbents may work independently or with others. They may also need to work outside, travel to other locations, and handle hazardous materials.

Special Requirements

• Pass a drug screening before being hired
• Valid and Class C driver’s license
• Valid California Drivers License (CDL)
