Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Position Overview

This position is responsible to diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul heavy equipment and fleet trucks, used in construction, working primarily with diesel engines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with heavy equipment and diesel engines
• Knowledge of mechanical principles and troubleshooting techniques

Skills

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment
• Overhaul fleet trucks
• Work with diesel engines

Requirements

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must pass a drug test
