Tired of Corporate? We are a small Heavy Equipment Dealership in Van Alstyne TX, looking for a Highly Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
What we are looking for:
- Able to diagnose and fix various models of heavy equipment.
- Willingness to work outside in ALL TYPES OF WEATHER
- Highly skilled in fixing electrical, hydraulic, engine and transmission related issues
- Work well with a small team of salesman, yard staff, and other mechanics
- Work fast, fix the problem, move on to the next machine
- Ability to work with and or own Diesel Laptop software

Compensation:
$80,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
About us
Himes Equipment started in 2009 in a 12x30 building by the current owner Ryan Himes. After obtaining his first bank loan in 2011, the company moved to Dallas into the companies first office. In 2016 they purchased a 15 acre yard and office in Wylie TX. Now, they have over 650 used machines onsite at the same location since 2016 with a full bilingual sales staff and mechanics. Himes Equipment has sold thousands of used machines to 41 states and several countries including: Peru, Honduras, Guatemala, Nigeria, Malaysia, Tapan, Zimbabwe, Canada, Taiwan, Brazil, Mexico, El Salvador, and China. Himes equipment carries a full line of used equipment including: over 150 used skid steers, track loader, 15 motor graders, 70 used backhoes, 20 forklifts, telehandler, 50 used excavators, roller, compactor, dozer, manlift, skip loader, offroad dump truck, 100 used landscape zero turn mowers, and several utv.
