About the role

We are partnering with an established manufacturer and service provider in Southern California that is looking to add a skilled mechanic to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment while working in a clean, well-equipped shop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance, major repairs, and component replacements
  • Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel systems
  • Work on equipment such as: excavators, backhoes, forklifts, bulldozers, and other heavy construction equipment
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards

Qualifications

  • 1-5+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience
  • Strong experience working on heavy construction equipment (excavators, backhoes, forklifts, bulldozers, etc.)
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with: hydraulic systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and diesel engines
  • Work on diesel motors
  • Experience performing repairs beyond routine maintenance
  • Stable work history
  • Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)

Pay

$30-35/hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday schedule with overtime opportunities available
