Heavy Equipment Mechanic

About the role

C&E Rentals is seeking a mechanic who can diagnose and repair various types of equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure the rental fleet is safe and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, gas, and diesel issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine the right repair.
• Complete work orders and repair documentation.
• Help keep equipment safe, clean, and ready to rent.
• Work with the service team to keep the shop moving.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work safely.
• Basic computer or tablet skills for work orders.
• Pride in doing the job right.
