Heavy Equipment Machine Operators

About the Role

Operate heavy equipment on multiple job sites located throughout Alabama. Equipment includes, but is not limited to:

• Dozers
• Excavators
• Dump Trucks
• Forklifts
• Skid steers

Requirements

• CDL not required
• Experience with operating multiple types of heavy equipment is preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Self-transportation to job sites
• Able to follow directions and perform tasks with minimal supervision
• Maintain compliance with OSHA requirements and company policies

Work Environment

• Performing work at various heights
• Exposed to weather conditions depending on the location and time of year
• Exposed to trenches, confined spaces, and restricted movement areas
• Performing work on uneven terrain, unfinished building structures, and general construction areas

Physical Demands

• Repetitive walking, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, climbing, kneeling, reaching over the head, and twisting
• Standing for long periods of time without sitting
• Lifting and maneuvering heavy objects up to 50 lbs
• Repetitive motion of shoulders, arms, hands, wrists, and fingers

Schedule

Operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
